The volunteer will take part in differents assignements from the « Points informations jeunesse (PIJ) » and more specifically with the point concerning the international mobility.

Several actions and / or animations will be offered :

-animate some workshop concerning information about international mobility (example : how to prepare your departure abroad, discovering Europe, volunteering…)

-contributing to the development of tools communication. digital social networks, reports
audios and videos (example: Promoting youth mobility to abroad).

-create and consolidate a europeans partners network with the territory to promote the hosting and the sending of volunteers (animation of a partners network, team meetings…)

-collaborate and participate with the animation team to the young PIJ activities programm (public reception, school intervention…)

-Participate with the animation team to the local events . (culture, leisure, jobs, international, volunteering …).

-Propose new activities related to the partners and the youth public. according to the centers of
interest of the volunteer and after having discovering the territory and the host structure.

Every week, the volunteer will have times dedicated to :
– learning the french language (one half day of language course)
-setting up a volunteer-specific project ( one half day)
-participation in specific support provided by PIJS facilitators allowing the volunteer to prepare his post EVS project.

Where is the reception of the European Voluntary Service?

The volunteer will be welcoming by the community of Vallons de Haute Bretagne (VHBC) www.vallons-de-haute-bretagne-communaute.fr

Two professionals from the Youth Information Points are going to accompany them during their daily life.

Additionnal informations :
-accomodation in Guichen to a boarding house for the first weeks then in a Youth Housing residence “Ferme du Rocher” in Guichen. (T1 bis and T1 furnished).
-providing a car for the assignements
– providing ticket transport to move on the department.
-leisure offer (subscription to sports and culture activities)
